Michael Zakroff
Mr. Zakroff has 27 years natural resource exploration experience. He is Secretary and Treasurer of St. Anselm Exploration, a privately held oil and gas exploration and exploitation company where he has overseen all related business activities, including land acquisition, financial management and contract negotiations. With operator Murfin Drilling, St. Anselm Exploration has participated in 87 exploration prospects, has leased in excess of 1,000,000 acres and acquired over 1,400 square miles of 3-D seismic data, and has drilled over 250 wells. Prior to his natural resource exploration activities, Mr. Zakroff founded a mining and construction equipment manufacturing company that also performed custom heavy mining and mill related metal fabrication. He built the company to 140 employees, and sold it to a consortium of Caterpillar dealers in 1982. Mr. Zakroff attended St. Johns College in Annapolis and Santa Fe.
John Snow
Mr. Snow has 26 years of geothermal and oil & gas exploration, production, and regulatory experience. Mr. Snow was previously Director of Geothermal Resource Development for Enel North America (ENA) where Mr. Snow handled all aspects of geothermal exploration and development. Mr. Snow managed an interdisciplinary team of geothermal professionals devoted to the development of four geothermal projects located in three western states. Two of the geothermal projects located in Nevada were completed in 2009 for a total of 54 MW. His considerable regulatory experience includes leasing on federal and state lands, correlative rights, spacing orders, hearings, unitization, pooling agreements, etc. At the Nevada Division of Minerals he worked closely with development companies helping to bring online 260 MW of geothermal power. In 2008, Mr. Snow was appointed by the Governor of Nevada to serve a four year term as the State's Geothermal Commissioner for the State's Minerals Commission. Mr. Snow received his BS degree in Petroleum Engineering from Montana College of Mineral Science & Technology.
Anna Wells
Anna Wells is the founder of Standard Steam Trust and St. Anselm Exploration, a highly successful oil and gas exploration company. She also serves as the Chief Executive Officer and President of St. Anselm Exploration. Over the course of her 27-year oil and gas career she has focused on exploration and prospect generation in the Rocky Mountain, Mid-continent, and Gulf Coast regions. St. Anselm Exploration's dominant presence in the Ferron coalbed methane in central Utah was the result of her mapping. Another of her projects, St. Anselm Exploration's Wasatch gas play, Uintah Basin, Utah, received recognition by "Oil and Gas World" as the 1997 Best New Well of Region – Rocky Mountains. Ms. Wells received her BS and MS degrees in geology from the University of Colorado.
Mark Palmer
Mr. Palmer co-founded St. Anselm Exploration with Ms. Wells and is currently its Vice President. Pursuing the early application of 3-D seismic onshore, Mr. Palmer executed successful regional 3-D seismic exploration projects in the Williston Basin in Montana, North Dakota & South Dakota, the Hardeman Basin in Texas, and the Powder River Basin in Wyoming. Presently he is directing St. Anselm Exploration's 3-D seismic project in the Midcontinent Region of Kansas, Nebraska and Colorado. Mr. Palmer received his BS degree in marine geology from Long Island University and received his MS degree in marine geology and geophysics from the University of Miami.
Kathleen Skiba
Kathleen has been Controller of Standard Steam Trust, LLC, Agua Caliente LLC and Terra Caliente since January 1, 2008. She has over 14 years experience in the oil and gas industry in accounting roles for production, drilling and exploration companies. . Previously she served as Director of Cash Control and Accounts Receivable for Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield and owned/operated an accounting business for 17 small business with net incomes of up to $5M annually. She received an Accounting degree from DePaul University, Chicago and worked toward her CPA in 1996.
